This doc illustrates the strength of the Coda no-code functionality. Starting with simple reminders, it evolves step by step into a simple project organisation tool. Use it as-is, or customise it to suit your exact requirements.
The doc starts with a button to create a simple reminder, then an appointment, a meeting and finally a project. Each step is slightly more complex than the previous, and illustrates something new. But everything is built on a single to-do list table. This table then serves as a single source of truth for all your date driven activities.
The To-do item type "Meeting" contains a canvas column, which pulls in a meeting template. It is easy to change this meeting template to suit your requirements. At the moment it contains room for the agenda, decisions taken, other notes, a list of attendees and room to capture to-dos arising from the meeting.
The To-do item type "Project" is similar to the Meeting type described above, but makes use of a template page, rather than a canvas column. It is possible to set up different project templates. Currently the tool provides a Software Design template, as well as a Research template. To create additional bespoke project templates, create a new sub-page under the Template page. Add the newly created page to the SwitchIf() in the "Add New Project Template" button. Further instructions are contained in the document.
